In order to further promote the cooperation between the two sides and the understanding of the industries concerned, Steven M. Chapman, the Vice President of Cummins, led his team to Yuchai for visit and exchange on December 18.  Leaders of Yuchai, including the Chairman, Yan Ping, and the President, Wu Qiwei, conducted in-depth discussion with Steven M. Chapman and his team on the development trend of the industry.

As excellent enterprises in the engine industry, Yuchai and Cummins have maintained a good cooperative relation for many years and have achieved leapfrog development in supporting parts.

Steven M. Chapman and his team visited Yuchai's intelligent production line and exhibition hall of China VI products, and had friendly talks with the senior management of Yuchai. The two sides exchanged views on global new energy power technology and industry trend, as well as their cooperation projects.

As important members in China's engine market, Yuchai and Cummins have always jointly promoted the technological development and industrial upgrading in the industry, and the scientific planning and development of China's emission regulations, and made efforts to build an energy-saving and emission-reducing industrial chain.
