On March 12, Yuchai Group held the 2015 spring job fair for staff children at Culture Center to create a green channel for the employment of staff children.
Staff children came for jobs in the company of their parents
According to a source from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, in the context of economic growth slowdown, China's employment situation will be more complex and severe in 2015. There are about 15 million new urban growing laborers in China in 2015, including 7.49 million college graduates, as well as graduates from technical secondary schools, vocational schools, junior high schools and senior high schools.
Resolving the employment problem of staff children is Yuchai Group's major move of staff care and human orientation. According to Zhang Dong, recruitment supervisor of the HR Department, to promote the employment of staff children and create an employment platform for them, the group organized the job fair. Through preparations in early March, the group has received 146 job applications from all subsidiaries, most of which are first-line job applications. In terms of educational requirements, 9 jobs require that applicants should have bachelor's degrees or above, and the others require that applicants should have graduated from junior colleges and technical schools. The employers include Yuchai Machinery, Yuchai Huayuan Machinery (Yulin) Co., Ltd., Yuchai Power Machinery Co., Ltd. and Yuchai Logistics Group Co., Ltd. in Yulin and other areas.
Applying staff children were completing the application form
Many staff children came for jobs in the company of their parents. Xiao Wu, a staff child who just completed the form said she would graduate from the university this year. Xiao told that she studied in Nanning and came back after learning about the job fair organized by Yuchai from her parents. As the job fair presented a wide range of jobs, she under heavy employment pressure really appreciated the job opportunity provided by Yuchai.
The source said the job fair will run till tomorrow. Afterwards the employers will examine applicants' information and organize the next round of interviews. Besides, to resolve the employment problem of staff children, while organizing the job fair for staff children, the group will preferentially enroll children of Yuchai's staff on equal conditions during campus recruitment.
