On April 17, Jining National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (JNHIDZ) and Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. held a grand signing ceremony at Jining Shengdu International Conference Center. Dong Xinjiang, chairman of the Administrative Committee of JNHIDZ and Ning Xingyong, Party secretary of Yuchai Machinery, on behalf of JNHIDZ and Yuchai Machinery, concluded the agreement on "Jining R & D Center for Yuchai Passenger Vehicle Engines" and "All Series of Diesel Engines for Passenger Vehicles". The signing is intended to build Jining Yuchai Engine Co., Ltd. into a domestically famous production base of diesel engines for passenger vehicle.

Present were Jining's government leaders including Secretary Ma Pingchang, secretary of the CPC Jining Municipal Committee and Mei Yonghong, deputy secretary of the CPC Jining Municipal Committee and mayor of Jining City, leaders of the relevant departments of JNHIDZ, as well as Yuchai's leaders including Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group and Ning Xingyong, Party secretary of Yuchai Machinery and chairman of Jining Yuchai.

At the signing ceremony, Mei delivered a speech, saying Jining is at a critical moment of implementing the scientific strategy of "mode transformation and structure adjustment", and Yuchai plays a significant role in the transformation, upgrading and scientific planning of the parts industry.

Ning extended heartfelt thanks to the Jining Municipal Government and the government of JNHIDZ for their strong support to Jining Yuchai project, encouraging all sides to have confidence and determination to make the project successful at its critical moment of development.
