To improve the labor environment for first-line workers, Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. has recently invested 900,000 yuan to install two dust removal systems for the vehicle engine machining shop of Engine Plant 2, covering 14 units (sets) of single machines and automatic equipment on the old vehicle engine body line, the new vehicle engine cylinder cover line and the old vehicle engine cylinder cover line. The move has not only improved the labor environment for workers, but also increased the cleanness of engines and parts manufactured by the plant, thus gaining unanimous praise from workers.

Seeing the installation of the dust removal systems was also completed, the worker Wen Zhiping said delightedly, "I will not have to work with a mask in future."

Yuchai Machinery has stuck to the concept that "workers are the greatest wealth of an enterprise". While growing continuously, the company has been constantly exploring and innovating the methods and ways of improving the working environment, and stepping up efforts to safeguard workers' rights and interests to achieve win-win of the enterprise and workers. In recent years, to improve the labor environment for first-line workers, the company has collected improvement opinions in ways of improvement proposal, worker representative talkfest and first-line survey, and taken various measures such as adding automated equipment, advancing lean improvement, installing dust removal and prevention facilities, and carrying out ergonomic applications, to improve workers' labor conditions and create more comfortable labor environment for workers.
