On April 26, the Wuhu Municipal Government held the Municipal Conference on Independent Innovation, Science & Technology, Intellectual Property and Science & Technology Awards. Y & C YC6K12 diesel engine won the first prize for progress in science and technology. Present were Xu Genying, director of the Science and Technology Department of Anhui Province; Gao Dengbang, secretary of the CPC Wuhu Municipal Committee; Pan Chaohui, acting mayor of Wuhu City and relevant municipal leaders, as well as heads of key departments under the Wuhu Municipal Government, relevant institutions of higher education and enterprises.

Y & C YC6K12 diesel engine ranked 2nd among the 30 awarded projects as one of the three winners of the first prize for progress in science and technology in the city. Gao personally presented the honor certificate to Liu Zhaoliang, deputy manager of the Marketing Department of Y & C, encouraging Y & C to keep going and make innovation constantly, thereby making a positive contribution to building Wuhu into an innovative city in an accelerated manner.

YC6K12 diesel engine is a leading engine independently developed by Y & C. With over 30 patents for invention, it is technically far ahead of other similar domestic engines and up to advanced world standards in terms of key indicators such as fuel consumption and specific weight.
