From June 17 to 19, Yuchai showed up at Guangxi 2013 Energy Conservation Week & Low Carbon Day with four eco-friendly products: YC6MKN, YC6LKN and YC6GN natural gas engines as well as YC6J hybrid engine.

During the event, Lin Nianxiu, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, visited Yuchai Pavilion, inquiring into the R & D of energy conservation and emission reduction technologies of Yuchai engines as well as their marketing and application. After hearing a report by Dr. Feng Jing, vice president of Yuchai R & D Center, Lin spoke highly of Yuchai's results, acclaiming Yuchai's progress in energy conservation and emission reduction technology innovation and application, as well as its contribution to national energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection, pledging more government support to Yuchai.

Natural gas engine and hybrid engine are Yuchai's two core eco-friendly series. In terms of low emission technology R & D, Yuchai has kept ahead of its domestic peers, followed frontier international technologies, and drawn high attention and praise from the international internal combustion engine world. In the first five months of this year, Yuchai sold over 10,000 natural gas engines, up over 130 percent year on year, registering a market share of over 45 percent, ranking first in the industry. The popularization and application of Yuchai's eco-friendly products has boosted the energy conservation and emission reduction of China's urban public transport. To date, Yuchai's hybrid market inventory has been up to 2,500 units, and Yuchai's hybrid engines have been mainly used in cities like Guangzhou, Wuhan, Kunming, Guiyang and Guigang.
