On June 30, Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, led the business body of Yuchai Group to Nanning for an in-depth exchange with Yu Yuanhui, secretary of the CPC Nanning Municipal Committee; Mayor Zhou Hongbo and Executive Vice Mayor Wu Wei of Nanning City; as well as leaders of Nanning's relevant bureaus and commissions, thereby exploring a new way of cooperative development and advancing Yuchai's industrial projects in Nanning to build a two-way platform for government-enterprise economic and trade cooperation.

Yan reported Yuchai's business operation and development plan in the first half of this year. He said, Yuchai has a clear objective of 100 billion yuan is confident of achieving the objective. To date, Yuchai has created "two product chains"--engine and construction machinery, built six quality industrial sectors including engine, construction machinery, logistics & vehicle trading and energy & chemical, and reached out from Guangxi to areas including Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong, Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing, Liaoning and Neimenggu, thus gradually unfolding its blueprint of 100 billion yuan. Right at Yuchai's doorstep, Nanning enjoys a superior location, a broad market and a favorable investment environment. Yuchai has the resolve and confidence to invest in Nanning to achieve greater development and make a due contribution to Nanning's industrial economic development.

On behalf of the CPC Nanning Municipal Committee and the Nanning Municipal People's Government, Yu and Zhou thanked Yuchai Group for its long-term strong support for Nanning's economic and social development. Yuchai said, Nanning is in a critical period of scientific and leaping development, developing the economy with a focus on finance, stepping up the development of modern industries and making all-out efforts to boost industrial development has become the top priority of the municipal committee and government. After years of development, Yuchai has built engine and construction machinery series brands, hopefully, Yuchai will seize the development opportunity, and combine its advantages in talents, products and technologies with Nanning's advantages in location, logistics and market, to grow stronger and achieve win-win.

At the meeting, the two sides also probed into the issue of land for Yuchai's projects in Nanning, the issue of industrial policy support and Yuchai's problems left over from history. The CPC Nanning Municipal Committee and the Nanning Municipal People's Government pledged all-out efforts to coordinate to resolve these issues and problems in support of Yuchai's great development.
