On July 3, Yuchai Group's new employees in 2013 began to sign in. Over the two days, more than 370 graduates from institutions of higher education from across the country have signed in. These new employees include 44 masters and over 330 bachelors.
The sign-in formalities were gone through at the third floor of Yuchai's graduate apartment building, according to sources. New employees of Yuchai's subsidiaries in Yulin will move in the apartment building, and those of Yuchai's subsidiaries in other places will temporarily be arranged to stay at the graduate building.
The volunteers were introducing the sign-in process to the graduates
In the early morning of July 3, welcome banners were hung and signs were set up on all roads linking Yinghua community to the graduate building and Yuchai's graduate apartment building, Yuchai's young volunteers in green uniforms and red hats were as busy as bees.
On the site of new employee sign-in on the third floor of Yuchai's graduate apartment building, we randomly interviewed a guy accompanying his cousin Kong Yuan. The volunteers' reception of Yuchai's new employees was considerate, even he could feel the warmth of Yuchai as an employee relative, he said.
Subsequently, we interviewed Kong Yuan, a graduated in accounting from Guangxi University of Finance and Economics. Led by Yuchai's young volunteers, she just completed the sign-in formalities. She said, "I'm happy to work at Yuchai. It makes me feel at home, very warm!"
Zhu Chen, a graduate in measurement and control technology and instrumentation, said, "Yuchai's volunteers have accompanied me since I got off the train. Their services are considerate and warm, making me cool in the torrid summer."

At the sign-in counter of the volunteer team, several volunteers were introducing the sign-in process to the new employees who had just arrived. Here we met Cheng Jiaojiao, secretary of the League Committee of Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited, also deputy head of the sign-in counter of the volunteer team. She introduced, the counter has nine members. When new employees arrive, we first introduced the sign-in process and distributed pairing cards to them. In addition, we should coordinate temporary situation on the sign-in site.
Every new employment getting out of the elevator on the third floor of Yuchai's graduate apartment building was accompanied by our volunteers, leaving the sign-in site in good order. We interviewed Ling Ming, secretary of the League Committee of Yuchai in charge of the overall dispatching of volunteers. She said, "To ensure the smoothness of the reception, we mobilized and organized over 200 volunteers for two parts of work: one is the reception in July 3 and 4, and the other is long-term pairing service. To make new employees feel at home, we elaborately planned the reception work, dividing volunteers into four sectors: work command, vehicle operation, reception and pickup. On all roads leading to the graduate building and Yuchai's graduate apartment building, we have deployed volunteers to direct new employees and help them carry luggage."
Reception calls for wholehearted efforts. Ling added, "Some volunteers reported that some of new employees inevitably lost something during signing in, so we have set up a temporary lost and found office to bring lost things back to their owners as soon as possible."
In the morning, leaders including Guan Min, vice president of Yuchai Group and Ye Bin, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. headed for four reception points (the railway station, the general bus station, the eastern suburban bus station and the passenger transport center) to see Yuchai's young volunteers waiting there to pick up new employees, encouraging them to try their best in reception.
