Recently, 10 newly-fabricated drifters powered by YC6CL (CL200) marine engines have been launched at Zhakou Shipyard in Daishan County, Zhejiang Province and succeeded in the trial.

These Yuchai-powered drifters cleaved through the waves on the sea surrounding Zhoushan Archipelago, attracting attention from a lot of local ship owners. YC6CL marine engine is much superior to other similar products in power, smoke, noise and fuel consumption. As YC6CL was launched on the market for the first time, to obtain first-hand valuable supporting information, Yuchai has sent supporting engineers for full-course follow-up services from engine installation to sea trial. During the trial, YC6CL was unanimously praised by the staff of Zhejiang's fishing vessel inspection department and customers for its outstanding performance in test items such as direct sailing, turning, reversing and butting, thus passing the inspection, marking the success of the first trial of drifters powered by YC6CL marine engines.

Many ship owners involved in the trial pledged to preferentially equipping their new drifters with YC6L marine engine.
