Organized by the China Machinery Enterprise Management Association (CMMA), undertaken by the Research Institute of Machinery Industry Economic Management and World Executive Group (icxo.com), the release conference for the Research Report on Chinas Top 500 Machinery Manufacturers and the Worlds Top 500 Machinery Manufacturers in 2013 has recently taken place in Beijing. As a result, Yuchai Group ranked 17th among Chinas Top 500 Machinery Manufacturers with a score of 94.78 points, a place up from last year. Also, Yuchai was listed among the Enterprises of the Year with four other enterprises like Huachen Auto Group and Guangzhou Automobile Group Component Co., Ltd.

This years Research Report on Chinas Top 500 Machinery Manufacturers used Competitiveness Value Added (CVA) designed according to international practice for a comprehensive analysis and study of enterprises data including sales revenues, total profit, return on assets and growth rate, as well as factors including industrial differences and media index, thus working out scores and rankings.

During releasing the report, Sun Bowei, vice chairman of the China Machinery Industry Federation and council chairman of CMMA, said, among Chinas Top 500 Machinery Manufacturers this year, transportation equipment manufacturers are most with 139 places, accounting for 27.80%, and 126 are electric machinery and equipment manufacturers and general equipment manufacturers, accounting for 25.02 %.
