From August 14 to 15, five engines of the YC6K12 series of Y & C Engine Co., Ltd. passed the EU E-mark certification through tests. All test items were completed smoothly according to the requirements of regulations such as ECE R49 (emission), ECE R24 (smoke) and ECE R85 (net power). All tests were conducted on Y & C's benches. The company's benches are capable of Euro IV and Euro V performance, emission and OBD certification tests of heavy-duty engines and meet relevant requirements.

According to the requirements of the EU's Directive 72/245/EEC and revised Directive 95/54/EC, all products entering the EU market for sale such as automotive engines and relevant electronic and electric products must pass E-mark test certifications, only those labeled with "e" will be released by customs in EU countries and gain access to local markets. Now a considerable number of countries across the world implement EU emission standards and recognize E-mark certifications.

The obtainment of an E-mark certificate for Y & C's YC6K engine marks that Y & C engines have gained the pass to countries recognizing EU regulations, thus broadening the sales channel of Y & C engines.
