On August 23, news came from the Industry and Information Technology Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GIITC) that Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) has been included among the first group of members of Guangxi Promotion Association of Industrial Innovation (GPAII). Among the 125 members, YHI is an executive director.

According to sources, GPAII is a social organization that was advocated and managed by GIITC, initiated by Nanning Informatization & Industrialization Technology Co., Ltd., Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Tianyuan Bichemistry Co., Ltd. was registered upon approval by the Department of Civil Affairs of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and has corporate capacity. It aims to promote the establishment of Guangxi's industrial innovation development system based on enterprises, oriented on market and integrating production, teaching and research, to boost the innovation ability of Guangxi's industrial enterprises and promote the fast, healthy and continuous development of Guangxi's industrial economy.
