On December 10, upon review by the Industry and Information Technology Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GXIITC), the projects winning the awards for achievements in advanced processes, tools and equipment renovation were unveiled. As a result, 33 projects of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (Yuchai Machinery) made the list.

Yuchai contributed 37 projects in 2013. Upon review by a GXIITC-organized expert panel, 33 out of the 37 projects were awarded, including 22 winning the award for achievements in advanced processes and tools, and 11 winning the award for achievements in equipment renovation. Six projects including "Vermicular Iron 400 Material Process" won the first prize; 11 projects including "Manufacturing of L62YB-SF1 Generator Support" won the second prize and 16 projects including "Improvement in Honing Process of Cylinder Hole of 300hp Diesel Engine" won the third prize.

Yuchai Machinery attaches great importance to engineering technologists' capacity for independent innovation, endeavors to build stages for engineering technologists, and encourages those engaged in process, tool and equipment to go into process innovation, tool improvement and equipment renovation, thereby enhancing the company's market competitiveness.
