On December 13, the 2014 Suppliers Conference of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company (DFCV) took place in Wuhan. At the conference, Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (Yuchai Machinery) was listed among "DFCV 2013 Best Suppliers". This is the 6th consecutive year for which Yuchai has won the honor.

The conference summarized the purchase and supply work in all business fields from the perspective of the whole value chain, and set the strategic goal of the purchase and supply work for 2014: to continue building the most competitive global supply chain, perfect DFCV's purchase management mode (DPMW) and promote DFCV's internationalization strategy.

In 2013, DFCV achieved sales better than expected, basically stabilized its market share, continuously improved its operation quality and met all business targets. These were attributable to DFCV's efforts in internal management optimization and upgrading, as well as coordinated management of the supply chain and cost reduction. As a major supplier of DFCV, Yuchai continuously improved engine quality, kept enhancing product reliability and ensured product consistency, thus boosting product quality and winning unanimous praise from vehicle plants. To date, Yuchai-powered Dongfeng commercial vehicles have accounted for over 20 percent of all Dongfeng commercial vehicles.
