On January 14, at the award ceremony for outstanding achievements of new products in Guangxi, the project of "YCNG2083 Refuse-compacting Transfer Station Equipment and Refuse Collector with Detachable Box" of Guangxi Yuchai Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. (YSV) won the second prize of the Guangxi Award for Outstanding Achievements of New Products.

The product involved in the project is sanitary equipment developed by YSV to promote Guangxi's industrial structure adjustment, optimization and upgrading, and to accelerate transformation of the mode of economic development. The project was successfully piloted in many cities and counties of Guangxi in 2012, yielded substantial economic and social benefits, gained unanimous recognition from the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Department of Environmental Protection of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and will popularize the practice in the whole autonomous region in the next period. The award will boost the product's marketing in Guangxi and the rest of the country.
