China's first T30 marine diesel engine--YC6TD600L-C30 has recently rolled off in Yuchai, marking R & D of Yuchai's marine engine emission technology has entered a new stage and Yuchai marine engine has kept ahead in the domestic marine engine industry once again. The T3 marine diesel engine is more eco-friendly than commonly used T2 marine diesel engine and seven years ahead of the expected implementation time of T3 emission standard prescribed in the MARPOL Convention.

YC6TD600L-C30 is a low-carbon new-type marine diesel engine independently developed by Yuchai. The engine combines electronic unit pump fuel injection system and SCR post-processing system. With the concerted and painstaking efforts of the R & D team of Yuchai R & D Center, the engine keeps emission control under T3 standard. Upon site review by experts like industrial authority Prof. Lyu Lin of Wuhan University of Technology, the performance indicators of YC6TD600L-C30 marine diesel engine was confirmed to be up to T3 standard, announcing that it is China's first T3 marine diesel engine.
