On January 18, Yuchai held 2014 new product launch conference in Nanning, Guangxi, launching eight new products. Present were Wu Qiwei, general manager and Party secretary of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd.; as well as over 160 distributors from OEM, machinery plants and marine engine distributors across the country. Wu and the other attendees unveiled the new products.

The eight new products launched by Yuchai this year cover application fields like commercial vehicle, general machinery and marine engine. Particularly, in the fields of light-duty truck and heavy-duty truck, new products were launched in segments.

According to sources, to cope with market competition in 2013, Yuchai launched 12 key new products (7 gas engines and 5 national IV diesel engines) in late 2012, including all-new platform product YC4EG, updated platform product YC6A-45 and YC6A/YC6J national IV engine. These new products have boosted Yuchai's core competitiveness, laying a solid foundation for Yuchai to keep ahead in sales in the industry, become the first multi-cylinder diesel engine manufacturer with sales of 500,000 units in the industry, and increase its market share continuously.
