A first award, 10 second awards, 31 third awards and 58 merit awards were presented. Two of YTA's three contributions were awarded.
For years, YTA has attached great importance to technical innovation by conducting researches, building master studios, and organizing workers for job innovation and utility innovation under the theme of "fostering talents, improving quality, making achievements and increasing benefit". Several achievements have won national and autonomous region achievement awards, showing the creative ability and innovation style of Yuchai's quality workers.
According to sources, the event started in 2004 and is held every three years with the aim of evaluating and awarding innovative achievements such as advanced and utility inventions and innovations emerging in various enterprises and institutions in recent years, their technical innovations yielding substantial economic or social benefits, major technical renovations significantly increasing labor productivity and product quality, new technologies, processes, materials or operational methods of promoting occupational safety and health, energy conservation and emission reduction, and environmental protection, and key technologies producing major impact or playing important roles. So far, nearly 300 achievements have been awarded.
