On the morning of September 19, Jin Xiangjun, secretary and Chen Yanguo, deputy secretary of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee carried out a survey on the construction of the gas engine manufacturing base and the marine diesel engine manufacturing base of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM). Ning Xingyong, deputy general manager of YM, warmly received the delegation.

The delegation headed to Yuchais gas engine project base and marine diesel engine project base. On the site, Jin inquired into the situation of emission, matching plants, production capacity and orders of Yuchai gas engines. Ning reported relevant information elaborately.

After visiting the construction site, Jin spoke highly of Yuchais construction efforts and acknowledged the project progress. At the marine diesel engine project base, after learning that Yuchai marine engines grew amid the overall industrial slump this year, Jin hoped that Yuchai would seize the opportunity to advance the follow-up construction of the project in an orderly manner to make a new contribution to Yulins economic development and the advancement of the major strategy of invigorating Yuchai and prospering Yulin.

Yuchai gas engine manufacturing base primarily manufactures YC4D, YC6J and YC6MK gas engines, as well as YC6T and YC6C engines. Phase 1 of the project was launched in late 2011, and the main works of the production workshop have wrapped up, the workshop has entered the stage of equipment installation, the main works of the heavy-duty gas engine production workshop has also almost been completed. Two testing beds are scheduled to be trial-manufactured in late October 2012 and go into production in late December.

Yuchai marine diesel engine manufacturing base primarily manufactures YC6C, YC8C and YC6T diesel engines. The project involves the arrangement of machining equipment and the construction of auxiliary facilities including the assembly and test plant. So far, the main works have been completed.
