Recently, the Guangxi Commission of Industry and Information Technology (GCIIT) has organized experts to evaluate the accredited corporate technical centers in Guangxi, unveiling the evaluation results in 2011. As a result, Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) was rated outstanding with a score of 97.7 points, ranking 11th among the 151 enterprises evaluated in 2011. A total of 143 corporate technical centers in Guangxi passed the evaluation, of which 28 were rated as outstanding, 100 as qualified and 15 as basically qualified.

In accordance with the Administrative Measures of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for Accreditation of Corporate Technical Centers, GCIIT evaluated the work of the corporate technical center accredited in Guangxi from 2010 to 2011. Corporate technical centers that have been evaluated to be unqualified and have failed to submit materials for evaluation will be deprived of accreditation qualifications.

YHI pays close attention to product R & D, technical innovation, R & D input and technical center capacity building, technological talent introduction and training, research finding declaration and patent application, brand cultivation and earning foreign exchange through export, takes active part in seminars on national and industrial standards, passed the evaluation of all indicators of corporate technical centers in Guangxi by overwhelming superiority, and has played a model role in the cultivation and construction of corporate technical centers in Guangxi.
