Recently, 40 Yuchai-powered school buses have been delivered fully to Pingluo County Education Bureau in Shizuishan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. According to preliminary statistics, there have been over 200 Yuchai-powered school buses in Ningxia.

According to sources, 22 of the 40 school buses are 7-meter King Long school buses, the other 18 are 10-meter Yutong school buses powered by Yuchai YC4FA and YC6J engines. Yuchai school bus engines are specific engines for which Yuchai conducted specialized development and electric-control adaptability re-calibration based on professional studies of the school bus market, in regard to factors such as special speed restrictions on school buses and their difference from traditional vehicles in terms of total mass. So far, some of the 40 Pingluo-purchased school buses have gone into operation to transport primary and secondary school students in the villages on the periphery of Pingluo. They have been unanimously praised by school bus operators and schoolchildrens parents for their safety, comfort and assurance.

Before these school buses went into operation, Yuchai Ningxia Office, in association with local service stations, gave targeting maintenance training to school bus drivers, and made overall arrangements for all-day fast services and parts reserves afterwards, to ensure the normal operations of these school buses.
