From November 10 to 14, the selection of National Quality Trustworthy Teams, organized by the China Association for Quality (CAQ) and China Quality, took place in Guilin, with the participation of 69 teams from all walks of life in the country. As a result the modeling team 2 of the body workshop of the foundry, on behalf of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM), won the first prize for National Quality Trustworthy Teams by outstanding performance and brilliant results.

YM attached great importance to the contest, and took it as a good platform for demonstrating the companys quality effectiveness, carrying forward corporate culture, promoting Yuchai brand, exchanging and learning management experience. Organized by the quality department, teams were selected elaborately from all plants and headed by Qin Zongli, chief quality assurance engineer of the quality department. Among the teams, the modeling team 2 of the body workshop of the foundry won the first prize for National Quality Trustworthy Teams by outstanding performance, fully demonstrating Yuchais quality concept, corporate culture and team management level, gaining unanimous and high praise from judges and other contestants.

According to sources, as the extension of the event, CAQ planned to deliver the award ceremony for prizewinners in Hefei, Anhui Province next month. Then, leaders of relevant state ministries and commissions and competent government departments will be invited. Concurrent will be activities including management experience exchanges and sharing by National Quality Trustworthy Teams and visits to outstanding enterprises.
