"It has been the 11th year since Yuchai powered began to serve the NPC and CPPCC annual sessions in 2004, now Yuchai power has basically become the standard machine for Shouqi's buses during the sessions" Yang Jing, manager of Tengyu Bus Repair Factory of Shouqi Group Co., Ltd., said emotionally.

As is known to all, as the domestic highest-level annual conferences, the NPC and CPPCC sessions have always drawn wide attention. All vehicles designated for the sessions are handpicked, requirements are demanding from exterior, interior and lighting, to engine, suspension and steering system, to safety and comfort, engines are vital as vehicles' hearts, why did Shouqi Group take Yuchai power as a standard machine? During serving the sessions every year, Yuchai Service Center had some unwritten rules: related service stations in Beijing were required to begin vehicle inspection and check in early February to resolve vehicle problems, laying a foundation for future support. In response to possible emergencies, the center also worked out some emergency plans, such as preparing complete parts for vehicles, establishing an information team staying by for 24 hours, keeping in touch with the fleet, making timely communication when problems arise, ensuring that vehicles are in normal conditions before dispatch and duly handling and reporting arising problems. Notably, before serving the sessions, Yuchai's work staff listened in to weather forecast half a month earlier to prepare themselves for some possible problems caused by weather.

Speaking of Yuchai's service, Vice Manager Zhang Bin sang high praise for Yuchai's staff stationed at Shouqi, saying, "Yuchai's staff was devoted, they basically got up before daybreak every day and went to bed after vehicles returned and every parts were checked strictly.
