Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) made a good beginning early this year. YHI which has made deep adjustment for two years met with representatives of 29 distributors from across the country at the headquarters in Yulin on April 15 to discuss development.

According to sources, after more than two years' adjustment, the support of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Yulin Municipal People's Government and YHI to YHI has gradually been in place, the market has begun to recover and YHI has ushered in a new round of development opportunities.

In 2014, YHI repositioned itself, took mini excavator as its core product, penetrated into the medium excavator market, kept enhancing the core competitiveness of its mini excavator sector and was committed to becoming a specialized small and medium mini construction machinery manufacturer. Its overall development route is recovery, development and health. According to prediction, the construction machinery industry registered sales of some 110,000 units in 2014, including 60,000 mini excavators, 36,000 medium excavators and 14,000 large excavators. Market recovery has created a rare development opportunity for YHI which takes mini excavator as its key product and enjoys overwhelming advantage in the mini excavator segment.

YHI will focus on the mini excavator market according to the business principle of stabilizing team, controlling cost, managing debts, enhancing sales, securing platform and manufacturer-distributor integrated operation, to succeed in restorative production operation.

Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, hoped that YHI and distributors would seize the opportunity of industrial market recovery to enhance confidence, cement cooperation and go all out to restore production operation, thus getting out of trouble and accomplish steady development in two years.
