From April 24 to 26, the 2nd China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF 2014) took place at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. showed up with a patent for invention--"front-end-output large-power diesel engine" in "Patented Technology and Product Trading Pavilion" as one of the few exhibitors from Guangxi.

According to data, the diesel engine has a power of over 160kW and a front-end output of over 55kW through gear transmission. Up to the national T2 emission standard, it can fully meet the operating need of various large agricultural machines. Its power output structure is easy to install and connect, and outputs large power. Also, it provides ports for installation of parts such as hydraulic pump and air compressor. As the first of its kind in the country, the diesel engine has filled the gap in the domestic large agricultural machinery field relying on imported engines and transmissions. Yuchai owns the independent intellectual property right of the engine.

According to sources, with a total exhibition area of 35,000 square meters, CSITF 2014 has five pavilions, including "Patented Technology and Product Trading Pavilion" organized by the State Intellectual Property Office. The exhibition brought together over 900 enterprises, including 155 from abroad and 10 among Fortune Global 500. Yulin attaches great importance to intellectual property work, encourages innovation and promotes technical trade. Yulin organized enterprises to participate in the exhibition, thus learning advanced experience from developed areas, broadening vision, demonstrating Yulin's innovative achievements, displaying innovative spirit and providing a reference for the 4th Guangxi Inventions Achievements Exhibition Fair.
