On April 26, the inaugural ceremony, the 1st general shareholders' meeting and the 1st board meeting of Yuchai International Imp. & Exp. (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (YIIE) was held in Beijing.

YIIE is a trade-oriented company founded by Yuchai Group in association with Qinhuangdao Beifang Marine Parts & Machinery Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. (BFMP) with the aim of expanding its share in the oversea market and helping its subsidiaries develop export channels. The company's primary business will be exporting products of Yuchai's subsidiaries.

Present at the meetings were Gu Tangsheng, president of Yuchai Group; Gao Chongying, chairman of BFMP; Li Tiansheng, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group and chairman of YIIE; and Wang Peng, general manager of YIIE. Gu and Gao delivered speeches at the opening ceremony as the shareholder representatives, voicing the strategy and expectation of YIIE's future development. Li, Wang and the worker representative Lu Xiaodan expressed their determination to make concerted efforts to fulfill the corporate plan.

Following the meetings, YIIE and other subsidiaries of Yuchai Group looked into and reached consensuses on related issues such as future cooperation mode and market development.
