At the 2014 China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks & Components held in Beijing National Convention Center on May 14, Yuchai YC6MK375N-50 engine, thanks to its excellent and leading advantages as the natural gas engine, won the China Road Transport Cup 2014 Best Environment & Technology Award.

YC6MKN series natural-gas engine is the new-generation large-power 10.3L natural-gas (CNG/LNG) engine developed specifically for large road, tour and public buses with the length at 12 meters and above. Compared with similar products o other producers, YC6MKN natural-gas engine has the following prominent strong points: first, it is robust and durable. Design on the natural diesel engine, the model is highly reliable and uses the imported components of combustion system; second, it has wonderful power system. The power of gas engine approaches that of diesel engines with the same power. The engine has rapid response because of the optimization of control tactics and compatible booster; third, it has wonderful economical feature. By using the electric control single-point gas injection technology, the electric-control high-energy independent ignition, electric-control boosting, the lean-burn technology and air-fuel ratio closed-loop control technology, the gas consumption is effectively reduced. Besides, YC6MKN natural-gas engine is also featured by small vibration, low noise and prominent comfort.

The Exhibition adopts the theme of green, safe and intelligent. The large-scale exhibition fully displays the latest technologies and equipment of road transport, urban public vehicles, school buses, parts and components. Of the 130 exhibitors, there are 25 whole-vehicle manufacturers that exhibit 72 vehicles, the largest number in the history of the exhibition. The exhibitors include Yutong, King Long, Yuchai, Weichai, Cummins and other manufacturers of whole vehicles, parts and components, which display their latest products and technologies.
