To further strengthen the clean practice education of leading cadres, enhance their concept of clean practice and consolidate their awareness of warding off corrosion, Yuchai Group held a lecture on clean practice education of leading cadres, inviting Zhang Jian, director-general of the Duty Crime Prevention Bureau of the People's Procuratorate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to give duty crime prevention education to leading cadres. Present were leaders including Lin Wei, deputy chief procurator of the People's Procuratorate of Yulin; Huang Hongjian, director-general and Ouyang Mei, deputy director-general of the Duty Crime Prevention Bureau of the People's Procuratorate of Yulin. Over 170 middle and senior leading cadres of Yuchai Group attended the lecture.

Zhang has worked at the procuratorates at the county, city and autonomous region levels for more than 20 years, and has held posts such as grass-roots chief procurator and chief of the Duty Crime Prevention Bureau of the People's Procuratorate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, thus accumulating rich experience in duty crime investigation and prevention. In the lecture, he made a profound analysis of the current anti-corruption situation, enumerated a lot of duty crime cases, and dissected causes of duty crimes such as embezzlement and bribe acceptance and their severe harms to individuals, families and the society, so as to sound the alarm of duty crimes to Yuchai's leading cadres. He struck the cadres' hearts with six questions including "Can you sustain the suffering of imprisonment?", "Do you count the price when your greed arises?" and "Will you live in peace if your behavior of embezzlement or acceptance is not found temporarily?", requiring them to think over these questions, stay alert and consciously stay away from duty crimes.

Following the lecture, Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, delivered a speech. Director-General Zhang's education is vivid, his words are simple but the educational significance is profound, he said, requiring that Yuchai's leading cadres should carefully learn and comprehend the education content, discuss the content and voice their feel and cognition; should organize Party members and cadres to watch the educational video, and carry out companywide clean practice education, so as to further enhance Party members and cadres' concept of clean practice. Also, he required all subsidiaries, Party organizations and leading cadres at all levels should fully realize the severity and importance of anti-corruption, draw profound lessons from the case of Yuchai Special Vehicle Co., Ltd., further intensify source control, establish and improve business procedures such as engineering, procurement, commerce, contract and capital as well as relevant policies and regulations, perfect the mechanism of power operation control, plug up loopholes of duty crimes and care for every cadre and family better so as to ensure the healthy development of the group.

Lin Jiejun, secretary of the Party General Branch of Engine Plant 2, said he was overwhelmed by the lecture. The lecture contains a lot of cases and is informative without lofty tone. Every one of us studies and works for a happy life. A happy life should be free of psychological burden, we must conduct clean practice in order to feel at ease, those who conduct unclean practices are irresponsible for families and individuals, and it is impossible to ensure a happy life.

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, Yuchai Group has firmly implemented the eight regulations of the Central Government, released and implemented ten regulations on group style building, established and implemented the system of group disciplinary inspection and performance assessment, perfected the system of group leading cadres' responsibility for Party integrity and regulations such as the regulations on leading cadres' clean practices, created a new situation of corporate Party integrity building and anti-corruption work, and promoted the second startup and the healthy development of the group.
