Yuchai holds award ceremony of 1st Woman Worker Skill Contest

On October 17, Yuchai Group held the award ceremony of the 1st Woman Worker Skill Contest in front of the Cultural Center. Ning Xingyong, Guo Deming and Chen Jinyuan presented awards to the winners of the first, second and third awards, marking that the contest has been wrapped up.

Based on the composite results of theory tests and practical operation, Tan Lihua and Li Xiaoqing of Engine Plant 2 and Wei Shaoying of Yuchai Machinery Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd. claimed the titles of the category of internal combustion engine assembly, the category of crane operation (ground operation) and the category of mechanical testing respectively, six contestants including Yao Huan of Foundry won the second awards and nine contestants including Jiang Yuan of the Quality Department won the third awards.

At the award ceremony, Guo Deming said, the contest is a great stage for learning and growth we built for our women workers, as well as a great platform for showing our skills,. Despite a short span of two days, one minute on the stage takes ten years' hard work off the stage. Everyone took an active part in the contest and achieved good results.

Also, Guo expected the group's women workers to renew efforts to achieve better results next year, and march towards higher-level competitions in the autonomous region and the country so as to bring credit to the group; expected all women workers to take active part in skill and quality improvement activities so as to bring their due role into play; and expected the group labor union to organize woman worker skill contests of various jobs and at all levels so as to improve women workers' skills and qualities.

I really appreciate that the company offered me such a good opportunity to show myself and train my ability, and I have learned a lot from the contest. In the future, I will work harder and fulfill my duty to ensure product quality.
