From November 5 to 8, the 2014 National Annual Technology Conference of Mechanical and Electrical Enterprises & the 8th Technical Seminar on Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Processes in the Machinery Industry organized by the China Association of Machinery Manufacturing Technology (CAMMT) was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. At the conference, Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (Yuchai Machinery) was ranked among the "Top 100 Manufacturing Technology Innovation Bases" and won the Award for Excellent Paper Organization from the National Annual Technology Conference of Mechanical and Electrical Enterprises.

Seven projects submitted by Yuchai including Development of Processing Technology and Equipment for Under Cutting and Rolling of Nodular Cast Iron Crankshaft Fillets of Large Diesel Engines won one first prize, three second awards and three third awards for China's machinery manufacturing technology achievements. Three papers submitted by Yuchai including Application of Deep Hole Machining in Upgrading and Renovation of Deep Hole Gun Drill Machine Tools won one first award, one second award and one third award respectively. Besides, Yuchai's three workers including Xie Yongze were honored as "Outstanding Technologists".

The conference coincided with the term change of CAMMT. At the conference, Liang Qingyan, vice general manager of Yuchai Machinery, was elected as vice chairman of the 5th Council of CAMMT and Lyu Jian as a council member.
