On March 23, the Golden Dragon buses have been put into official service in Peshawar, Pakistan. The first batch of 12-meter long buses from Golden Dragon, 20 in total,  are powered by the YC6L engine of Yuchai.

Except for the 20 mentioned before, the rest 200 buses of the first batch also powered by the YC6L engine of Yuchai are expected to be in service in Pakistan this year. Attracting the attention of Pakistani media, this piece of news was reported in three languages by Daily Pakistan.

Bothered by the crowded environment in Peshawar with an urban population of over 3 million, local residents yearn for the convenient and comfortable transportation condition. Riding the wave of CEPC, Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Golden Dragon") and the Government of Peshawar reached an order of 220 buses. Preferred by terminal customers for its superb stability, economy and timely service, Yuchai engine has been specially applied in Golden Dragon buses.

The maintenance team of Yuchai and Golden Dragon stationed at Peshawar to guarantee the buses' stable service, and provide product training for customers, which cover engine technology, maintenance know-hows, and solutions for common failures, so as to ensure the traffic safety. As of now, nearly 4,000 buses powered by Yuchai engines have been served in Pakistan, where Yuchai has also established 2 core service stations.
