At the Award Ceremony for the 7th China Annual International Energy Conservation Competition in Beijing on November 25, C&C Trucks' two tractors: the 6×4 tractor powered by Y&C Engine's 6K12 engine and the LNG tractor powered by Y&C Engine's 6K13N engine were crowned in the corresponding categories.

The LNG tractor powered by Y&C Engine's 6K13N engine integrates C&C Trucks' SGIL gene (intelligent, safe, green and light). In terms of power, YC6K13N engine can resolve the industrial problem of weak power in a once-off way as a gas engine with the largest torque among domestic gas engines in the same power range; in terms of economy, the engine uses the technology of lean combustion to effectively reduce gas consumption, saving energy cost by over 25 percent compared to diesel engines. In the competition, the tractor lived up to expectations to outperform its opponents with the outstanding result of 0.8kg/t/100km.

Besides, the 6×4 tractor powered by Y&C Engine's 6K12 engine defended its title claimed last year!

Organized by Commercial Vehicle News under China Automotive News and co-organized by China Dingyuan Proving Ground and the Automotive Test Research Institute of the China Automotive Technology & Research Center, the competition has been held for seven times.
