On January 25, "Light of Morality--China CSR Award Ceremony & 2014 Guangxi Model Honest and Moral Enterprise Commendation Gala" organized by entities such as Entrepreneurs Daily and Guangxi Social Moral Culture Society was held in Nanning, Guangxi. Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (Yuchai Group) won the "China CSR Award". Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group; Gu Tangsheng, president of Yuchai Group and Wu Qiwei, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. won the "China Entrepreneur Social Responsibility Award".

Yuchai Group has attached great importance to the work of corporate social responsibility (CSR), continuously advanced the work in such aspects as organization governance, human rights responsibility, staff responsibility, environmental responsibility, operation responsibility, customer responsibility and community responsibility, and honestly disclosed them in the annual CSR report. Yuchai Group began to construct a green value system in 2014 and has systematically advanced its healthy and sustainable development in the aspects of green industries, green operation and green life since; it participated in "GoldenBee 2020", launched and implemented the program of "Low Carbon--Green Intelligent Building", practiced green R & D, green manufacturing, green marketing, re-manufacturing and recycling via the green value chain management platform, and built green intelligent products, thus ensuring that all links of engines' life cycle accomplished the objective of green and low carbon, and creating green value. Meanwhile, Yuchai Group has been devoted to public welfare undertakings, and done a lot for the public good in such aspects as earthquake relief, education support, assisting the weak and helping the poor, supporting the righteous and courageous, carrying forward good social morality, volunteer action and volunteer services, so as to set a good example of actively assuming social responsibility for other enterprises in Guangxi.

According to the source, over 360 enterprises participated in the selection from August 2013 to late December 2014. Eventually, 32 enterprises won the "China CSR Award" and 31 entrepreneurs won the "China Entrepreneur Social Responsibility Award".
