In association with several departments including Yuchai Sales Co., Ltd., Yuchai R & D Center and the Quality Improvement Department of Yuchai, the Marine Power Department of Yuchai has recently carried out Yuchai 2013 heavy-duty marine engine service campaign lasting two months nationwide. Now all work is underway.
The campaign was carried out by region and stage. The campaign promotion was intensified by slogans, bulletins, posters and showcases to create an atmosphere; free maintenance was provided to YC6C, YC6T and YC6M users once, with an engine filter element, a diesel filter element and a marine engine operation & maintenance manual for each; relevant leaders led teams to key users and marine engine distributors to find out the operation of Yuchai heavy-duty marine engines, publicize service policies and provide service guidance; seminars were held with the participation of final users (including potential users) of YC6C, YC6T and YC6M engines, distributors and representatives of service stations to promote exchanges among users, distributors and service stations and enhance the influence of Yuchai heavy-duty marine engines. The first-hand information about user satisfaction was collected in the ways above, and technical experts of relevant departments were organized to investigate and resolve prominent faults arising in the operation of heavy-duty marine engines on the spot.
"The campaign is of great significance, the precious experience accumulated by ship owners during actual operation is worth our learning, and their opinions and suggestions will help Yuchai develop marine engines better meeting market demand," said a service worker in Yuchai's South China region.
