On June 24, the distributor representatives from Xinjiang, a key region producing natural gas, visited Yuchai to find out the situation of production and technical development of Yuchai's national V natural gas engines.

The representatives view the gas engine test bench just put to use

Yuchai's increasingly mature natural gas engines have gradually been favored by customers, gradually extending from medium-duty products to light-duty and heavy-duty ends in terms of size and from the bus market to the heavy-duty truck market in terms of matching scope. As Xinjiang is a key region producing natural gas, a growing number of customers in Xinjiang have chosen natural gas engines.

Referring to costs of national V natural gas engines the guests were concerned with, Zhong Xiaobo, deputy manager of the Applied Development Department, said, using independently developed EIS control system and combining quality purchase resources worldwide, Yuchai boasts great superiority in cost control. Last year, the output and sales of Yuchai's natural gas engines outnumbered the total output and sales of other engine manufacturers. In the first half of this year, the output and sales of Yuchai's natural gas engines were redoubled, and those of heavy-duty natural gas engines like YC6MKN grew more prominently.

Yuchai has intensified the construction of its natural gas engine service network with its products becoming increasingly mature in recent years, and Yuchai's heavy-duty natural gas engines have become the mainstream of the truck market, said Chen Ning, director of Yuchai Xinjiang Office.
