On the morning of October 17, a delegation led by Feng Xiangying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee and vice mayor of Yulin City conducted a survey of Yuchai. Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, held talks with Feng, discussing issues such as Yuchai's development strategy and current development bottleneck. Previously, the delegation had held talks with President Gu Tangsheng and Vice President Guan Min of Yuchai Group, finding out Yuchai's capital structure, discussing the advantages and disadvantages of Yuchai's capital structure and corporate governance mode, and making proposals.

According to sources, Yuchai is the first station of Feng's survey tour after he assumed office. Yuchai plays a vital role in Yulin's economic and social development as a domestically famous enterprise, he said, hoping to acquire a full knowledge of Yuchai through the survey. He inquired into Yuchai's capital structure, development plan, current difficulties, etc.

During the survey, the delegation also investigated Yuchai's workshops and laboratories.
