On November 19, 2013 Bosch-Yuchai Executive Meeting took place at the Nanning base of Yuchai R & D Center. The two sides discussed the capacity preparation for implementation of the national IV emission standards, business conditions and plans of both sides and intention of future project cooperation.

Wu Qiwei, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (Yuchai Machinery), presided over the meeting and delivered a welcome speech. He extended warm welcome to Bosch's executives, expounded the great significance of holding the meeting at the Nanning base of Yuchai R & D Center and hoped that Bosch would continue supporting Yuchai.

Wang Weiliang, general manager of Bosch Automotive Diesel Systems Co., Ltd., said, Yuchai and Wuxi Bosch face the common challenge. It is the right time to implement the national IV emission standards next year, both sides need to make capacity preparation from all aspects as technically advanced enterprises. As Yuchai's strategic partner, Bosch hoped for more cooperation between the two sides.

Wu noted, thanks to effective communication and continuous efforts between the two sides, the failure rate of common rail systems has decreases, it is very important to intensify information sharing due to the uncertainty of the implementation progress of the national IV emission standards. The two sides agreed on increasing the frequency of executive meetings with two in Bosch and Yuchai each.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Lin Zhiqiang, chief engineer of Yuchai Machinery, showed the guests from Bosch around the showroom, trial-manufacturing workshop and testing center of the base.
