On January 13, accompanied by leaders like Wang Yuanqian, deputy chief economic manager of Yuchai Group, Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, called on General Manager Gao Aihua and Vice General Manager Xie Dan of Sinopec Gas Company. The two sides held a further discussion about cooperation in the fields of gas and related equipment.

In the discussion, Yan said, as low-carbon energy, gas application will burgeon over the next few years according to the current development trend. The cooperation based on the principle of complementarity, mutual benefit and win-win will lay a solid foundation for common development in the gas field.

Gao said, Yuchai boasts strong R & D advantage and terminal customer network as a domestic leading gas engine developer, the cooperation in the gas field will create new profit growth point for Sinopec Gas Company, further expand domestic and international markets, and make a greater contribution to national energy conservation and environmental protection.

According to sources, the senior executives of Yuchai Group and Sinopec Gas Company have held four discussions in Beihai, Yulin and Beijing, drafted the cooperation framework agreement in Beijing in December 2013, and agreed on content such as cooperation orientation and respective tasks, thus bringing the cooperation into a substantial stage. The discussion has advanced the early work in a more orderly manner and further the strategic cooperation in the gas field.
