On April 21, Yuchai Group held the conference on celebrating May Day and commending models, amply rewarding high-skill talents in the groups industrial fields with a sum of 1 million yuan. It was the third consecutive year that the group had rewarded high-skill talents with 1 million yuan.
The conference commended technical achievements of high-skill talents, the third group of top technicians and model entities and golden workers in 2011. Technical achievements of high-skill talents commended include 23 technical achievement projects, five projects of eliminating assembling errors and omissions and seven projects of organization management. Besides, six top technicians, nine model entities and 12 golden workers were commended and rewarded.
Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai said, an enterprise must have an outstanding industrial worker team in order to survive and develop permanently. In the future, worker team building will be one of the groups most important strategic countermeasures. The group will further improve the teams working and living benefits to equalize high-skill talents with introduced experts in such aspects with housing, pay, outward study and use.
According to sources, top technicians are Yuchais supreme honor for worker technicians. Over the three years, through level-by-level selection among technicians, Yuchai has appointed five chief masters, 10 specialized skill masters, 22 top technicians and 35 golden workers, and rewarded them with a sum of more than 3 million yuan. High-skill talents have given full play to their demonstrating and leading role in all business fields of Yuchai Group, thus making remarkable contributions to its continuous innovation and development. The project of Technology of Rapid Prototyping of Bodies of New Heavy Engines implemented by the technicians of the Manufacturing Technology Department created the country, the industry and Guangxis first modern high compound technology of digital integration three times faster than normal, saving die cost by 5 million yuan a year.
