At the meeting, Tan introduced Yuchais corporate strength and development plan, expressing its strong intent of cooperation in developing its reliability technology improvement project and introducing talents from BIT and cultivating reserves for its expert team. Eventually, the two sides reached consensuses on matters of school-enterprise cooperation including establishing a mechanism of school-enterprise exchange visits, complementing each others advantages, sharing resources, jointly building a talent exchange platform and carrying out cooperation in production, teaching and research.

BIT is a science-predominated national key university that develops engineering, science, management and liberal arts in a coordinated way, as well as a major base for cultivating major leading talents for the defense technology industry and developing defense weapons and equipment. It enjoys a high status in technical researches on dynamics armaments for the army and aerospace. In recent years, it has kept ahead technically in diesel engine power testing and applications. Remarkably, its technical strength in such aspects as thermal fatigue testing of cylinder cover and plateau simulation bench testing are great appeals for Yuchais engine property testing and technical R & D.
