On September 12, the high-profile 11th International Exhibition on Internal Combustion Engine (Engine China 2012), organized by the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, was held at China National Convention Center in Beijing. Themed by Innovative Development, Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction, Green Manufacturing, the event brought together nearly 200 enterprises from home and abroad to comprehensively showcase various internal combustion engines, parts, control systems, processes and equipment of internal combustion engines, as well as relevant technologies, products and services. Exhibits represent the latest technological achievements in Chinas internal combustion engine industry.

Yuchai showed up with 11 energy-conserving and environment-friendly engines, covering trucks, buses, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, ships and power generation. Amid the slump in the medium and heavy-duty truck industry in 2012, CNG engines warmed up the market, Yuchai CNG engines became a highlight in the sluggish market by its outstanding and leading technologies and stable and reliable performance, with its sales increasing continuously to 20,000 units in 2012. YC6MKN CNG heavy-duty engine has been launched in batches, produced good market effects and came under the spotlight at the exhibition.

As Chinas leading green engine manufacturer, Yuchai represents the countrys highest level in terms of energy conservation and environmental protection technologies. With the States close attention to energy conservation and emission reduction and the need of industrial development, the internal combustion engine industry has become the basis of oil conservation and a major link of energy conservation and emission reduction in the society, Yuchai shoulders major historical and social responsibilities, has constantly achieved breakthroughs on the road of energy conservation and emission reduction, has kept ahead in emission control, has met the requirements of national emission regulations three to five years in advance from National III to Europe VI emission, and has made great strides one after another.
