On September 22, 2012 China-ASEAN Engineering Projects Cooperation & Development Forum, organized by the Guangxi Association for Science and Technology, the Secretariat of China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the ASEAN Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, was held at Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center (NICEC), bringing together over 150 distinguished engineering experts and scholars from countries and regions including Cambodia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau, as well as relevant domestic experts and enterprise representatives to discuss the development of China-ASEAN engineering projects.

The forum centered on the theme of Making full use of the preferential policies of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone provided by the Chinese government, and constructing a normal mode of exchanges and interactions among science and technology organizations in Guangxi, Hong Kong, Macau and ASEAN.

Lin Tiejian speaks at the forum

At the forum, Lin Tiejian, vice president of Yuchai R & D Center delivered a speech entitled Innovation Creates New Legend--Yuchais Way of Innovation. The success of the forum has created a favorable platform for promoting China-ASEAN engineering experience exchanges and project cooperation, and developing cooperation opportunities for China and ASEAN members. At the forum, several experts and scholars from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and ASEAN members delivered keynote speeches.
