The 9th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) opened in Nanning, Guangxi on the morning of September 21. Under the theme of Cooperation in Science and Technology, the 9th CAEXPO attracted 2,280 enterprises, with a total of 4,600 booths, including 1,300 for ASEAN and countries outside the region. National pavilions were set up for six ASEAN members-Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. Enterprises from countries outside the region, including Korea and Australia, took active part in the exhibition. Also present were up to over 90 purchase delegations and groups.
Yuchai pavilion
Following the opening ceremony, a delegation led by Man Changxue, vice mayor of Yulin, visited Yuchai pavilion, inquiring into Yuchais exhibits and its domestic and overseas development. After the visit, Man encouraged Yuchai to renew efforts to achieve new success.
Among Yuchais leaders present was Guo Deming, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group. Guo learned about Yuchais participation, heard a report and exchanged ideas with visitors.
Yuchais exhibits
Yuchais participating subsidiaries included Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM), Yuchai Power Machinery Co., Ltd. (YPM), Yuchai Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. (YSV), Huayuan Filtration System Co., Ltd. and Yuchai Machinery Monopoly Development Co., Ltd. Among exhibits, YMs YC6L310-40 two-stage charging engine (fine exhibit), YC6MK420-40 engine (fine exhibit), YC6J200 hybrid system, YC6K engine (fine exhibit), Y6L260N-5 gas engine and YC6T660L-D20 generating engine (fine exhibit) represented the diversity of high-endtechnologies of Yuchai machinery.
Besides previous small-power engines, YPM exhibited sugarcane combines and field transporters. The climbing demonstration of field transporters drew attention from professional visitors and attracted many distributors for distribution inquiries.
YSVs NZ5070ZZZ self-handling refuse collector, NZ5124ZYS compression refuse collector, container-detachable refuse collector and sweeper truck also attracted professionals for visits and inquiries.
