On the morning of September 23, the 9th Small and Medium Enterprises Expo (SME Expo) opened at the conference hall of Yulin International Convention & Exhibition Center. Gu Tangsheng, president of Yuchai Group, attended the opening ceremony and be seated on the rostrum.

As Yulins leading enterprise, Yuchai stole the show at the exhibition. In the center, Yuchai Industry Park promoted Yuchai as a key enterprise, demonstrating and introducing Yuchais key products including engines and construction machinery to visitors from around the world.

Yuchai pavilion attracting flocks of visitors

This year, Yuchai set up an outdoor pavilion only. Yuchai pavilion enjoys superior location in the west of the center, and its main entrance is the only way to the venue of the opening ceremony. With an area of over 1,500 square meters, the pavilion is the largest of a single exhibitor. The pavilion is elegant with ingenuously designed main entrance, side entrance and booth, showing Yuchais high-tech and high-quality brand image and solid, capable, steady and innovative humanistic pursuit.

Yuchai exhibited over 30 engines, covering agricultural, vehicle, marine and generating diesel engines and gas engines ranging from single-cylinder models to eight-cylinder models.

Around 10 AM, the exhibition hall of the 9th SME Expo was open to the public. Yuchai pavilion attracted flocks of visitors. The staff warmly received visitors, earnestly and patiently answering their inquiries. Yuchais several vehicle, marine and generating diesel engines and gas engines on show were eye-catching by sophisticated technologies and outstanding performance, attracting customers and visitors to make inquiries; the three agricultural machines exhibited by Yuchai Power Machinery Co., Ltd. (YPM), the two garbage disposal vehicles exhibited by Yuchai Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. (YSV), as well as eight models exhibited by Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI), including small & medium-duty excavators, skid loaders and mining trucks also drew great attention. Customers came endlessly for inquiries and posed for photos before the machines.

A visitor cannot help experiencing a model of YPM

YC-38Y-5CP field transporter exhibited by YPM was favored by many farmers, and many came over to learn about the model. According to YPMs staff, with a small wheel base and great power, the model can climb up 45-degree steep slopes and is much suitable for agricultural operations on hills, according to the staff. After carrying corresponding devices, the model can be used for irrigation and transport, is more efficient and safer than ox carts. In addition, the model is priced some 15,000 yuan only. The model has fascinated farmers from around the country by its moderate price and strong function, and is primarily sold to Guangxi, Yunnan and Guizhou. It is foreseeable that the model will have a bright market outlook.

YSV exhibited NZ5100TCA kitchen waste collector and NZ5020ZXX container-detachable garbage collector exhibited. NZ5100TCA was designed to dispose of kitchen waste, according to Zhong Xiumin, a staff member of the Market Department of YSV, Unlike other domestic garbage, kitchen waste mainly includes oily water and is hard to compress directly. Other domestic garbage, dominated by solid waste, is easy to compress, therefore kitchen waste collector design is special compared to common garbage collector. The collection system and container are different, and an oily water filtration system is added to make the model high in technology content.

NZ5020ZXX is a market highlight of YSV this year. The model is as small as a minivan, with a head similar to a minivans, a driver cab for two riders and a rear detachable container. The container can be detached to collect garbage. After garbage collection, the model transports the container to a depot for garbage compression. According to sources, the model is applicable to domestic garbage disposal in towns and townships, Guangxi will increase the investment in improving the living environment of towns and townships in the near future, and YSV will get an order for the model worth over 100 million yuan.

In the construction machinery zone, the exhibits not only attracted adults attention, but also appealed to children who posed for photos on drivers seats. Adults inquired product performance and prices.

The 9th SME Expo will run from September 23 to 26, according to sources. Diverse events will be staged during the exhibition, covering four sectors-SME Development Forum, Commodity Fair, Project Promotion and Negotiation and International Tourism and Food Festival. 1,500 booths will be set up for Commodity Fair, including 550 indoor booths and 950 outdoor booths. 150 booths will be set up for International Tourism and Food Festival, including five sub-sectors and 16 items.
