Recently, the 12th National Conference on Pursuit of Excellence organized by the China Association for Quality has taken place in Beijing with the theme of Quality, Honesty--Sustainability. Among nearly 500 attendees were Zhang Rongming, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee; Gu Xiulian, vice chairman of the Tenth National Peoples Congress; Yang Xueshan, vice minister of industry and information technology and Shao Ning, vice chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, leaders from industrial associations from across the country and representatives from outstanding Chinese enterprises. Zhu Yanshuan, deputy manager of the Quality Department of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) attended the conference on behalf of Yuchai, receiving the medal and certificate for national advanced enterprises in outstanding performance mode implementation in 2012.

Yuchai is listed among national advanced enterprises in outstanding performance mode implementation

This time, enterprises from 29 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government and special administrative regions entered for the award for national advanced enterprises in outstanding performance mode implementation. As one of the few engine manufacturers in the machinery industry, YM has been committed to outstanding performance mode implementation for many years. Particularly, since early this year, YM has taken the lead in the autonomous region chairman quality award and the mayor quality award as Guangxis first enterprise that has introduced outstanding performance mode, thus becoming an industrial benchmark.
