Good news has come recently that Application of Laminated Sealing Ring Assembly Device declared by Luo Guangde, an engineer of Engine Plant 1, Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., won the second prize for achievements in advanced tools in Guangxis equipment industry in 2012, due to its rational design, exquisite craftsmanship and advantages including operation convenience, labor saving and safety.

Upon repeated researches, Luo worked out a segmented laminated sealing ring assembly device. The device can assemble four sealing rings at one end of the middle part of the exhaust pipe once and eight sealing rings on both ends twice, boosting assembly efficiency compared to original assembly taking eight times. Besides, the strengthened hook, not prone to damage, can catch the opening of the sealing ring firm to eliminate the potential hazard of wounding caused by a flying ring and ensure assembly safety.
