On December 23, seven Yuchai-powered Sinotruk Huanghe Shaoshuai vehicles arrived at Ghabbour Auto Group, Egypts second-largest commercial vehicle group, marking the initiation of Yuchai-GB cooperation.

GB is Egypts second-largest commercial vehicle group. Since March 2012, Yuchai Egypt Office has preferentially developed GB as a strategic customer, made frequent communication with its marketing, technical and after service staff, and constantly recommended Yuchais superior truck and coach engines based on characteristics of existing products. GB originally chose to cooperate with European, Japanese and Korean enterprises, and has gradually extended the scope of its partners to Chinese automakers in recent years.

Egypt Office has made persistent communication and seized important opportunities to frequently visit GB with Sinotruks representatives in Egypt to demonstrate the advantages, technical support and quality warranty of Yuchai engines for medium-duty trucks, thus bringing about an order from GB for the first batch of 27 Sinotruk trucks. Apart from 19 260hp+ heavy-duty trucks, seven of the eight medium-duty trucks carry Yuchai engines. Of the seven trucks, three are powered by YC6J190-20, three by YC6J220-33 and one by YC4E16033.
