The NPC and CPPCC annual sessions opened at the Great Hall of the People on March 3. As a major bus power supplier, Yuchai has provided transportation support to the sessions in association with Shouqi Group for ten consecutive years.

As the major force of traffic safety during the sessions, Yuchai held an emergency meeting immediately after the Kunming bloodshed to popularize antiterrorism knowledge, mobilizing the staff to keep high political consciousness and responsibility, always bear antiterrorism and antiriot in mind, and be on alert during the sessions.

Yuchai attached great importance to transportation support to the sessions this year. Aiming at the characteristics of the transportation task during the sessions, guided by the working policy of "elaborate organization, strict requirements, quality, absolute safety", Yuchai hammered out the work plan for transportation support and the work plan for emergency response early before the Spring Festival, when Yuchai began to select and verify service staff to ensure staff quality; intensified driver and maintainer training to ensure service quality; and strengthened vehicle inspection to ensure safety.

Shouqi Group has dispatched 136 buses for the sessions this year, including 125 units powered by Yuchai. Yuchai bears heavy responsibility. Deputies to the sessions and the work staff stayed at 21 hotels in six districts: Dongcheng, Xicheng, Chaoyang, Haidian, Fengtai and Shijingshan. The wide distribution of deputy stations has posed a great challenge to Yuchai's service. To ensure that session support is flawless, Yuchai has frequently communicated and coordinated with Shouqi's service stations, made elaborate arrangements and implemented service support in an all-round manner. During the sessions, Yuchai's service staff checked vehicle safety in mornings and evenings; provided "point-to-point" service by section, designated special staff in charge of specific stations, and duly eliminated arising faults to ensure the success of transportation support.
