On February 27, the Launch Conference on Yuchai's Green Value System Work was held at the third floor of Power Building. The conference deployed Yuchai's green value system work and conducted a benchmarking analysis of corporate social responsibility management.

Yuchai green value system is a corporate development system characteristic of Yuchai. The system introduces development modes of international enterprises on the basis of summarizing Yuchai's development achievements and coping with the challenge of business environment changes, focuses on developing green industries, advancing green operation and advocating green life, and takes indexed evaluation as the criterion.

At the conference, Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, stressed, Yuchai green value system is the important sublimation on the basis of implementing Yuchai's core values of "Green Development & Harmony Win-win", is a creative task, and is implementing the green economy proposed by the state and fulfilling corporate social responsibility. In terms of depth and breadth, Yuchai's core values should be shaped by a system, and the radiating scope of core values should be expanded and brought to a higher, deeper and wider level. Efforts should be made to mobilize all staff to participate and blend the core concept into all work ideas and links; to first practice the system in the pilot units, work out the codes of conduct and the evaluation system, and perfect them gradually.

Guo Deming, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group, noted, green is hope and direction; value is the emphasis and core. The work is aimed to "create green value for future win-win." Yuchai's green value system work is intended to promote the group's "second startup", expand the space of survival, improve development capacity, enhance core competitiveness and step up internationalization, thus accomplishing the sustainable development of Yuchai.

With a focus on "green industries, green operation and green life", Yuchai green value system will form three strong forces to jointly build green Yuchai and create "green value". In terms of developing green industries, Yuchai will make great efforts in industrial planning and transformation to build an ecological cluster of green enterprises and establish the concept and mechanism of green investment. In terms of advancing green operation, Yuchai should promote corporate upgrading, comprehensively display Yuchai's "green" value and image in the full course, primarily build the platforms of green value chain, green office and corporate social responsibility action, focus on green value chain management, and control all elements to create measurable green value. In terms of advocating green life, Yuchai will advocate green life and green consumption, carry out the activity of green home building, co-build green communities and take an active part in corporate and social charity activities.

Yuchai green value system will involve three stages: construction, deepening and improvement. Integrating internal operation with external operation and following the order of pilot practice, unfolding and deepening", Yuchai will select enterprises like Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., Yuchai Huayuan Machinery (Yulin) Co., Ltd. and Yuchai Petronas Lubricants Co., Ltd. as the pilot units, spend three to five years working out operation plans, operation indicators and measures for division of responsibility and assessment, conducting operation evaluation and diagnosis, consolidating achievements, forming the system, perfecting it cyclically and improving it constantly.

The General Office of Yuchai Group, Yuchai Machinery Monopoly Development Co., Ltd. and Yuchai Huayuan Machinery (Yulin) Co., Ltd. were listed among the third group of "Yuchai corporate culture building demonstration bases", three units like the Foundry retained the title as three-star "Yuchai corporate culture building demonstration bases", and three units like Yuchai Petronas Lubricants Co., Ltd. retained the title as "Yuchai corporate culture building demonstration bases".
