On March 19, Huang Mingfu, director-general of the Agricultural Machinery Administration of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GXAMA), led relevant staff of the agricultural machinery administrations at the autonomous region and city levels for a survey of Yuchai Power Machinery Co., Ltd. (YPM). Deng Changqiu, vice mayor of Yulin City, accompanied Huang.

After being briefed by YPM's management team about agricultural machinery R & D and manufacturing as well as sugarcane combine development test, Huang offered a lot of improvement suggestions on transporter marketing, product reliability and applicability. Based on the actualities of sugarcane planting in Guangxi and the industrial trend, he exchanged ideas with the R & D team on the R & D and development orientation of YPM's sugarcane combines. He encouraged YPM to employ its technical and financial advantages, gear its products to foreign products, increase technology and capital investment, and prosper agricultural machinery products as soon as possible, to contribute to Guangxi's agricultural development.
